How to determine the capacity scale of photovoltaic power stations according to their own roofs
Adddate:2023-07-11Views:594

Under normal circumstances, the installation method suitable for different roofs will also be different, resulting in the installation of the power station area is not the same. In general, splicing installation can install 150 watts per square meter, and tilting installation can install 100 watts per square meter.

In the actual installation and construction process, the roof area needs to be significantly larger than the required area of the photovoltaic array, mainly because there may be partial or prominent objects on the roof, resulting in an effective installation area less than the actual roof area.

There are generally two kinds of roofs for installing household photovoltaic power generation: brick roof and flat concrete roof. Let's take a look at what kind of installation methods are suitable for different roofs and how large photovoltaic power plants are installed.

One, brick structure roof

The installation of photovoltaic power stations on the roof of the brick and tile structure is generally selected at 08:00-16:00 without shelter of the roof area covered with photovoltaic modules, although the installation method is different from the color steel roof, but the laying proportion is similar, but also 1 kilowatt area of about 10 square meters. That is to say, a relatively large area (100 to 150 square meters) of brick and tile structure roof, can probably install about 10 kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation system, 25 years of average annual power generation is estimated at 9,000 to 13,000 degrees.

2. Flat concrete roof

When installing a photovoltaic power station on a flat roof, in order to ensure that the components receive as much sunlight as possible, it is necessary to design the best horizontal inclination Angle, so a certain distance is required between each row of components to ensure that it is not blocked by the shadow of the front row components. Therefore, the roof area occupied by the whole project will be larger than the color steel tile and villa roof that can achieve the tiling of components. Generally speaking, after taking into account complex factors such as natural shielding and parapet height, the roof area occupied by 1 kilowatt is about 15 to 20 square meters, that is, the 1 megawatt project needs to use 1.5 to 20,000 square meters of area.

How to measure the effective space of the roof?

Pv array design and module selection process, the effective area is extremely important, let's say, the roof effective area of the measurement tips, how to master these tips? Let their own photovoltaic system design, installation more scientific and reasonable.

When measuring, it can be measured using a tape measure or directly from the structure of the building, such as the distance between the eave gutter and the roof ridge is defined as the "width", and the horizontal distance along the eave is defined as the length.

4. Identify "marginal areas"

Here, depending on the installation method chosen, a border or "edge area" should be set aside in advance around the eaves. If the reserved space in the edge area is too small, it will bring inconvenience to construction and maintenance. If the space of the edge area is too large, it will reduce the effective roof area and affect the design size of the photovoltaic system. For such a special parameter, the local will generally stipulate its size, in Australia, where photovoltaic power generation started earlier, it is recommended to select 20% of the effective area for the "edge area".

5. Determine the maximum number of photovoltaic modules that can be installed in the effective area

We all know that the commonly used photovoltaic modules are rectangular, and it has two fixed latitudes: length and width, and the actual number of photovoltaic modules that can be installed on the roof is mainly affected by these two fixed latitudes and the length and width of the effective space on the roof. In general, photovoltaic arrays can be selected according to the direction and effective area of the roof landscape installation (long side parallel to the long side of the roof), or portrait installation (long side parallel to the wide side of the roof).

Six, the irregular roof can be divided

In the countryside, the roof is complex and diverse, not all the roofs are the rectangles we aspire to, if you are facing a non-rectangular roof area, then do not panic, you can use the segmentation method, the roof is divided into a number of rectangles, and then in accordance with the landscape installation, portrait installation.
